Big Words
On Sportscenter this morning, I saw Chipper Jones (of the Atlanta Braves) openly criticizing a home plate umpire for calling him out on a pitch that was clearly outside. OK, I get it Chipper. You was robbed.
However, this would be the same pitch that was called a strike by ALL the umpires in the early 90s in favor of the Braves, when thrown by the trio of Glavin/Maddux/Smoltz, carrying your Braves to the World Series.
In other words, Chipper, quit it.
It's disingenuous.
